On September 5^th, 2019, FLSS solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2019-2020 school year.

The opening ceremony was attended by many distinguished guests from VNU and ULIS, all teachers and staff, parents and more than 2000 students.

The opening ceremony to welcome the 2019 – 2020 school year took place in a warm atmosphere. After the flag-saluting ceremony, Vice Principal Lai Thi Phuong Thao read the letter from the General Secretary/ Vietnam President Nguyen Phu Trong to teachers, education managers and students on the occasion of the new school year.

After that, Principal Nguyen Thanh Van announced the opening of the 2019-2020 school year – the 51^st year since FLSS establishement and beat the drum with joy. This is a special meaningful school year as it marked the 50^th year anniversary of FLSS establishment.

In addition to cheerful drum and gorgeous fireworks, the Opening Ceremony also honored excellent individuals of the school followed by a series of exciting and professional performances from clubs and teachers of the school.
