On January 17, 2019, ULIS-VNU held a meeting with leaders of Cau Giay District People’s Committee, representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Cau Giay District and Cau Giay District’s Department of Domestic Affairs to discuss the cooperation between the University and the district.

Attending the ceremony were President Do Tuan Minh; Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long; Chairman of Advisory and Cooperation & Development Council Nguyen Lan Trung; and representatives of leaders of ULIS Departments.

On the side of Cau Giay District delegation, Vice Chairwoman Trinh Thi Dung; Director of the Department Education and Training Pham Ngoc Anh; Deputy Director of the of Department of Domestic AffairsDo Minh Ngoc; Deputy Chief of Office Ngo Thi Hong Hanh; Principals of Dich Vong Hau, Mai Dich and Trung Hoa secondary schools; staff and teachers attended the meeting

Speaking at the opening ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh welcomed the leaders and officials of Cau Giay district to visit and work at ULIS. The President said that ULIS was proud to be the leading university in foreign language training in Vietnam, and proud of its contributions to foreign language education of the country as a whole.

Vice Chairwoman of Cau Giay District Trinh Thi Dung expressed her confidence in the prospect of the cooperation with ULIS, and highly appreciated the effort that ULIS had been putting on.

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Domestic Affairs and the three secondary schools also presented the situation of their units and made suggestions in cooperation with the University.
