Meeting with ULIS Media Ambassadors for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

On December 18, 2025, at Homies A2, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS–VNU) organized a meeting with the ULIS Media Ambassadors for the 2025–2026 academic year. The event aimed to disseminate essential information, create opportunities for interaction and connection among members, and lay the foundation for effective collaboration of the ULIS Media Ambassador team during the 2025–2026 term.

Attending the meeting were Vice President Lam Quang Dong, members of the Organizing Committee, and all 50 ULIS Media Ambassadors for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Implemented under the ULIS Ambassador Program, the Media Ambassador initiative has now entered its fourth term, continuing its mission of strengthening communication activities, media management, and promoting the image of the University of Languages and International Studies. Through the program, students are provided with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in communication and information technology.

The meeting opened with lively musical performances, creating a youthful, fresh, and energetic atmosphere.

Following this, the Organizing Committee screened an introductory video presenting an overview of the structure, members, and operational orientation of the Media Ambassador team for the 2025–2026 academic year. The program also officially welcomed the new Media Ambassador leadership team, who will play a key role in guiding, connecting, and spreading the program’s values in the journey ahead.

In his remarks at the meeting, Vice President Lam Quang Dong, Head of the Organizing Committee, extended a warm welcome to the 50 Media Ambassadors for the 2025–2026 academic year. Emphasizing the vital role of communication in disseminating the University’s positive values and image to the wider public, he encouraged the ambassadors to take initiative in learning, continuously innovate, and develop their communication skills to produce high-quality media content and publications, thereby promoting the values, image, and educational quality of ULIS.

The program continued with a commemorative photo session, marking a memorable moment of the meeting and highlighting the strong connection between the University and its Media Ambassadors.

Subsequently, Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy Head of the Office of Administration and University Governance and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, shared key information about the program with the 50 Media Ambassadors. His presentation focused on the objectives, activity content, and new highlights of the program in the 2025–2026 academic year, helping ambassadors clearly understand the orientation and tasks ahead.

The meeting then moved on to a media knowledge quiz conducted in the form of multiple-choice and short-answer questions. This activity not only created an exciting atmosphere but also helped reinforce participants’ understanding of communication in the ULIS context.

Prizes were awarded to participants who achieved high scores in the quiz.

One of the highlights of the program was a bonding activity entitled “Media Sound Waves,” designed to help ambassadors get to know and better understand one another. Participants were divided into groups and took turns introducing themselves with a keyword related to “communication,” while also remembering information shared by previous speakers. Thanks to this activity, the atmosphere became increasingly lively, and members had valuable opportunities to connect as they entered the 2025–2026 term.

While the first activity focused on ice-breaking and connection, the “Expectation Tree” provided a reflective moment for each ambassador to look back on their journey and express hopes for the upcoming term. Through a Padlet prepared by the Organizing Committee, ambassadors shared their reflections after two months of participation, as well as their expectations for themselves and the program during the 2025–2026 academic year.

The program concluded with a cultural exchange and musical performances, creating an enthusiastic, joyful, and vibrant atmosphere that left many positive impressions of the meeting.

With the goal of spreading positive images and meaningful values, the ULIS Media Ambassador Program 2025 is expected to deliver a term filled with outstanding activities and memorable experiences.
