On the morning of February 11th, 2019, a delegation of VNU led by Vice President Nguyen Hong Son came to extend best wishes to ULIS in the New Lunar Year. The delegation was welcomed by the Governing Board and Party Committee members of ULIS.

Vice President Nguyen Hong Son sent new year wishes and hoped ULIS would do well on recruiting students for all 6 Fast-track programs in this year.

Thanking VNU delegation for coming to ULIS on such special day, President Do Tuan Minh affirmed the honor of ULIS as a member of VNU. “The University was always aware of that and would continue to contribute to the overall development of VNU, the community and society” President says.

After that, ULIS organized a unique conference to gather all core staff and the briefing of Febuary in 2019.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh extended his best wishes to all the staff of ULIS in the new year and reminded them of the 6 key tasks in 2019.

At the briefing, President Do Tuan Minh acknowledged the efforts of all departments in the first month of the year as reflected by the completion of some of the first quarter key tasks such as: Completion of the Northwest Program, preparation for recruiting students at all levels, organization of major activities (Job Fairs, 2018 Year-end Conference), etc.

Some tasks that the University needs to focus on in the coming time are: Organization of Teambuilding activities and celebration of Internation Women’s Day (on March 8th), Organization of F.I.R.E Day (on March 26th), etc.

Also on the morning of February 11th, the Spring gathering of the New Lunar Year 2019 took place with the participation of all officials, lecturers, staff of all the Offices, Divisions, Centers under the University, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, the Faculty of Language Education & Professional Development, and FLSS.

Extending his wishes, President Do Tuan Minh acknowledged the efforts of 783 staff of the whole University on making the overall success of ULIS in the past year.The President hoped that all the staff would remember the word ” 實-Real” as the true value of ULIS (real work, real beauty, real people) and wished a new year with more success for the whole University.
