“The Math Olympiad under the name of Ocean of Knowledge is organized to look for talents in mathematics at the high school level in Vietnam so that it can provide support to those talents to thrive”, said Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Huyen, Dean of the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture.

On May 25^th, 2019, ULIS – VNU in cooperation with the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) – Russian Federation co-organized the Math Olympiad named Ocean of Knowledge with the participation of nearly 50 students.

At the event, Mr. Invanov Vasily – Deputy of Vice President of FEFU appreciated the bravery of the students and hoped that the competition would be the place where talents were found. He also expressed his pleasure to accompany ULIS over past years and looked forward to welcoming the students to study at the Far Eastern Federal University in the future.

Delivering her speech at the event, Dean of the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture Dinh Thi Thu Huyen said, “Thank you for coming to participate in the competition and thank the Far Eastern Federal University for your trust in ULIS to co-organize such meaningful contest. For all the students, I am confident that after this contest you will understand more about the relationship between the two countries, the Far Eastern Federal University and ULIS.”

After the results announcement, 3 students with the highest scores will be directly admitted to the Far Eastern Federal University and the others will receive a certificate from the University.
