On March 28^th, 2019, ULIS – VNU held the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd International Master’s degree programs in German and German is a foreign language and the second language in the context of Vietnam and Germany. These programs are funded by European Union (Erasmus + Program) and the German Academic Exchange Agency (DAAD).

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Lam Quang Dong, leaders and staff of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, leaders and staff of the Faculty of German Language & Culture, representatives of the Cooperation & Development Office, lecturers and students of the programs.

The program was approved on June 1^st, 2017. It enrolls 10 students every year, including 5 students each university). This second enrollment included a German student and 5 Vietnamese students.

Delivering his speech at the opening ceremony, Vice President Lam Quang Dong extended his congratulations to all the students. He hoped that the students would make efforts to learn and develop themselves, helping to promote this program.
