Opening ceremony of a Chinese language training class for Lai Chau province police officers
On July 28th, 2024, Lai Chau Provincial Police and ULIS-VNU coordinated to organize the opening ceremony of a Chinese language training class for officers in the Police force of the province.
Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Vice President Hoa Ngoc Son believed that all participating officers would make efforts to study and achieve many goals to be able to apply into daily work.
Colonel Sung A Sua expressed his desire to continue to receive attention and close coordination from ULIS in training and fostering languages of neighboring countries.
Participating in the Chinese language training class are 34 officers working in a number of professional departments and police departments of border communes who often come into contact with Chinese people. In 3 months ahead, students will be equipped with basic knowledge of Chinese as well as the ability to communicate when interacting and working directly with Chinese people to serve work requirements. In addition, students will have practical time in China, thereby helping students understand the history and customs of Chinese people. This is a favorable condition to help officers learn and equip knowledge to apply in their practical work.
