On September 24th, 2018, ULIS – VNU held the opening ceremony of in-service training programs for 211 students of QH.2018 F4 and F6 from English, Chinese and Japanese majors.

The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hien – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, Ms. Hoang Thu Trang – representative of the Faculty of Japanese Language  and Culture, Mr. Hoa Ngoc Son – Dean of the Faculty for Language Education and Professional Development, other faculty members and new QH2018 F4, F6 students of in-service training program.

Mr. Hoa Ngoc Son read the Decision on the admission of 145 new students in English major, 33 new students in Chinese major and 33 students in Japanese major.

In his opening remarks, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long extended his congratulations and wishes for good health, happiness and success to the new QH2018 F4, F6 students of in-service training program on officially becoming students of ULIS.

He expected new students to plan and determine their study orientations at ULIS from the beginning.

He added that the university would support them in all related aspects.

Sharing from a new student

Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh representing new students shared his joy to become an official part of ULIS ​​– VNU. He expressed his deep gratitude to all ULIS teachers for their generous help and advice during their preparation for the program.

He promised to comply with ULIS’s disciplines and hoped to receive the help from teachers to overcome difficulties in the learning process.

At the end of the ceremony, Dean of the Faculty for Language Education had close and sincere sharing with the new students, exchanged and listened to their opinions and questions.
