On August 12^th – 18^th, 2019, ULIS-VNU organized the 2019 Orientation Week. This is an annual activity to welcome new students. During the event, many exciting activities took place before the students officially started their study on August 19^th.

The Orientation week includes activities such as health examination; ULIS Tour and Club Days; dissemination of course plans; political activities; department meetings.

At the opening of the event, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy congratulated the students on becoming ULISers. From her own experience, Vice President Thuy highlighted 6 issues, including eagerness to learn; clear goals; all-the-time preparedness and readiness; sense of responsibility; honesty and self-confidence.

In the dissemination of course plans and political activities, new students were introduced about ULIS, training activities, students activities, Youth Union, Social Work, ethics, skills, security, library instruction, etc. The students were also informed of the most essential knowledge and received explanations from teachers if they had any questions.
