On October 9^th, 2020, ULIS – VNU held the Samsung SKS 2019 Scholarship Award Ceremony.

Every year, Samsung Electronics Company offers valuable scholarships to students with outstanding academic achievements. This year, Samsung awarded a total of 42 scholarships to Korean language students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh thanked Samsung for the funding to build the ULIS KF-SAMSUNG lectureroom.

This program has been implemented since 2017, and a total of 92 students from the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture have received this scholarship.

Representative of Samsung, Mr. Bae II Hwan, Deputy General Director of Human Resources Administration of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Company – Thai Nguyen factory, highly spoke of the University’s achievements in Korean language training. With this scholarship, he hoped that the students would continue their study efforts, contributing to the growth of Korean-Vietnamese relationship.

At the ceremony, Mr. Bae II Hwan and President Do Tuan Minh presented scholarships and gifts to students.
