On August 9^th-14^th, 2019, ULIS-VNU in collaboration with Global Education Service Vietnam (GES Vietnam) organized a study tour for students of Beijing Information Science & Technology University, China in 2019.

The opening ceremony, held on August 9th, 2019 was attended by leaders and staff of the Faculty of Language Education & Teacher Development, representatives of other departments, lecturers, volunteer students and 16 Chinese students participating in the program. This is also the first time ULIS organizes a study tour for students of Beijing Science Information & Technology University.

Delivering his speech at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoa Ngoc Son, Dean of the Faculty of Language Education & Teacher Development extended his thanks to the students of Beijing Information Science & Technology University for having chosen ULIS as their destination this summer. Interesting experiences from in-class and extracurricular activities will surely be meaningful memories to both students and ULIS lecturers.

On behalf of GES Vietnam, Ms. Do Thi Bich Lien thanked ULIS for facilitating the program. She believed that this would be a meaningful and exciting life experience for young Chinese students. Knowledge and memories from the program will surely be helpful for them in the future.

The “Discover Vietnam” program this time included many interesting activities such as learning Vietnamese and exploring Vietnamese culture, participating in extracurricular activities in class and outside campus, experiencing traditional folk games, discovering Vietnamese cuisine and so forth.

The study tour program lasts for one week. At the closing ceremony on August 14^th, the Chinese students will be awarded a certificate of completion.
