On August 1^st, 2024, ULIS – VNU organized a program to summarize the project of Building a key university for Korean studies in Vietnam (ULIS AKS Core) for the period 2019 – 2024.

Opening the ceremony, Dr. Tran Thi Huong – ULIS AKS Core Project Director extended her sincere thanks to the members as well as the professors and guest scholars who had contributed to the overall success of the project.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Vice President Lam Quang Dong spoke highly of the results achieved by the ULIS AKS Core project over the past 5 years.

A discussion on some remaining issues during the operation of the ULIS AKS Core project was held to also set out directions for research activities in teaching Korean at high school level in Vietnam.
