Dear respectful partners,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere greetings to all of you, home and overseas partners, who have accompanied the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (ULIS – VNU) in all spheres for a long time up to now.

The second quarter of 2019 has gone by. Three months full of events and activities. Most notably, ULIS welcomed a new birth, the youngest child to the family – ULIS Middle School UMS, while various communication actions were conducted for student recruitment to all training levels. Other highlights include the Annual National Conference on “Linguistics, Language Teaching and International Studies in Vietnam”; the publication of VNU Journal of Foreign Studies No.2 & No.3 in 2019, the periodic medical check-up for ULIS faculty and staff, the finale of the Book Review Contest, the opening of ULIS co-working space UTS and one-stop office, etc.

In the third quarter of 2019, the University continues to ensure successful recruitment of students to undergraduate programs and the 2nd round of graduate intake 2019, finalization of the project on renovating teaching methods at ULIS-VNU, and timely completion of all projects to renovate and upgrade the University’s facilities.

This summer, ULIS will have to say goodbye to K49 graduates and welcome K53. We wish all teachers, students and partners good health and enjoyable time with excitement and fun at ULIS.

This bulletin will provide you with a summary of ULIS activities that you are interested in. With its eye-catching design and diverse contents, we hope you will find it helpful and continue to collaborate side by side with ULIS in the upcoming time.
