On March 5^th, 2022, ULIS-VNU held an online seminar under the theme “Teachers with Visual Language: From Understanding to Using & Visual Design”.

This is an activity within the framework of the National Conference UNC 2022.

With the purpose of practice towards fostering the ability to use, process images and design in teaching in general and teaching foreign languages in particular, the seminar attracted 622 interested people and participants.

In his opening speech, Vice President Lam Quang Dong emphasized the important role of visual language in life and its effectiveness when applied to teaching.

The seminar program is built in a hands-on and interactive way. The participants learned a number of common issues about understanding and using images such as functions of images, elements that form the ‘language’ of images, image copyright issues, basic design rules and so on.

More specifically, the seminar also has discussion and practice activities for the delegates to directly design products using some popular design tools with the guidance of speakers with experience in design practice and composition.
