On January 16, 2026, in Can Tho, a delegation from ULIS visited and worked with Can Tho University to exchange and share experiences in university governance, training, and scientific research

The meeting was held in an open and productive manner, demonstrating a shared commitment to collaboration and the advancement of higher education.

Representing Can Tho University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Tinh – Rector, along with representatives from various affiliated units. ULIS delegation included the University Board of Management and representatives from various departments.

Both parties discussed university governance, digital transformation in education, and the development of curricula aligned with social demands and new career trends amidst higher education reforms.

Both institutions also discussed and agreed on long-term cooperation in key areas, including scientific research, seminars, and academic activities tailored to their respective strengths. This collaboration aims to enhance training quality, promote innovation, and strengthen the partnership between the two universities

Beyond sharing expertise in administration and research, the visit opened new doors for collaboration and resource sharing, aiming for sustainable growth in the higher education sector
