Promote cooperative activities with Kuwait University
On August 3rd – 12th, 2019, ULIS – VNU welcomed and worked with a delegation from the University of Social Sciences of Kuwait University (Kuwait).
The delegation of the University of Social Sciences – Kuwait University consists of Prof. Dr. Homoud Fahed al-Kashaan – President of the University and 4 excellent students.
During the visit, ULIS, in cooperation with the Embassy of Kuwait in Hanoi, held a meeting with the University’s leaders to discuss the prospects of cooperation between the two universities at various levels.
Prof. Homoud Fahed promised to promote cooperation such as increasing the number of scholarships awarded to students, opening professional training courses for teachers, collaborating to organize seminars in Vietnam and Kuwait. .
The partner’s side expressed their wish to support the Arabic library at ULIS as well as support the project “Arabic-Vietnamese Dictionary” of the Division of Arabic Language & Culture.
