On June 12^th, 2019, ULIS-VNU held a seminar on ‘Sharing experience on textbook compilation’, which was chaired by Dr. Dörte Lütvogt, the author of “Intercultural Communication”.

The seminar was attended by Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office Nguyen Thuy Lan, Dean of the Faculty of German Language and Culture Le Hoai An and other lecturers.

At the beginning of the seminar, Dr. Dörte Lütvogt introduced her textbook on “Intercultural Communication” to all of the teachers. This textbook was compiled during her five years of teaching at the Faculty of German Language and Culture, ULIS and has been successfully approved at the university level in early June 2019. The 160-page textbook is scientifically based on fundamental theories of intercultural communication and is divided into 12 chapters. Dr. Dörte Lütvogt also shared her experience in compiling the textbook and the difficulties encountered during the book writing process.

In the discussion session, the participating lecturers highly appreciated the curriculum as well as the efforts of Dr. Dörte Lütvogt.

The seminar on “Sharing experiences on curriculum compilation” attracted about 30 participants to attend.
