Dear respectful partners,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere greetings to all of you, home and overseas partners, who have accompanied the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (ULIS – VNU) in all spheres for a long time up to now.

The 2020 summer has gone by the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam Nationals University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU). While this summer seemed cooler, the atmosphere in ULIS was much more hectic with numerous prominent events in the 3rd quarter, such as: successful recruitment of high-quality students for all educational levels; organization of ULIS annual conference to review the 2019-2020 academic year and start a new one, to name just a few.

This 2020-2021 academic year has started off with motivating activities from welcoming new Ulisers to organizing course opening ceremonies for all students. This 4th quarter, we will need to well implement and fulfill the following key tasks: deploy reception for QH.2020 students and organize activities of the 2020-2021 academic year; organize the 2nd enrollment of graduate courses on October 17th-18th; organize the IGRS 2020 conference on October 25th and the ULIS Conference on Interpreting & Translation; complete the AUN external assessment on the Arabic language program.

On behalf of the Editorial Board, we wish all teachers, students and partners good health and enjoyable time with excitement and fun at ULIS.

This bulletin will provide you with a summary of ULIS activities that you are interested in. With its eye-catching design and diverse contents, we hope you will find it helpful and continue to collaborate side by side with ULIS in the upcoming time.
