ULIS Middle School signed an agreement with Iizuka Nisshinkan Elementary and Junior High School (Japan)
On February 18, 2025, the ULIS Middle School (UMS) welcomed a delegation of students and teachers from Iizuka Nisshinkan Elementary and Junior High School, Japan.

The exchange program took place in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. Students from both schools showcased a variety of impressive artistic performances that highlighted each nation’s unique heritage. These joyful moments not only provided fun and entertainment but also contributed to strengthening solidarity, laying the foundation for future cultural and educational exchanges.


Following the exchange activities, a formal signing ceremony was held to mark the cooperation agreement between the two schools. Representing the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi were Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son, Vice Principal; Dr. Luu Manh Kien, Deputy Head of the Science, Technology & International Cooperation Department; along with the leadership of the Ulis Middle School. From Iizuka Nisshinkan Elementary and Junior High School, Mr. Tsukiyama Takashi, Chairman of the Board; Mr. Tabata Minoru, Vice Chairman of the Board; and Mr. Nankyo Hirokazu, Principal, were presented.

During the meeting, Vice Principal Hoa Ngoc Son expressed his appreciation for the cooperation opportunities between the two sides and emphasized the importance of international educational exchanges in today’s era of global integration.

By signing this cooperation agreement, both the Ulis Middle School and Iizuka Nisshinkan Elementary and Junior High School reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the quality of education, providing valuable learning experiences, and fostering the development of students from both countries. In the near future, the two schools would launch various activities to put the signed agreements into practice, promising tangible benefits for students and teachers alike.
