On April 1, 2025, the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) and the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS) held a signing ceremony at VATM’s headquarters to formalize their cooperation.

The ceremony was attended by VATM leaders, including Mr. Le Hoang Minh – Chairman of the Members’ Council, and Mr. Nguyen Cong Long – General Director, along with other senior representatives. ULIS was represented by Rector Dr. Nguyen Xuan Long, Vice Rector Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son, and university staff.

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Cong Long emphasized the importance of English in air traffic operations and international collaboration. He expressed hopes for a sustainable partnership with ULIS in training and developing practical, high-quality materials to enhance staff performance and global readiness.

Dr. Nguyen Xuan Long affirmed ULIS’s commitment to delivering effective training programs and supporting the development of a skilled aviation workforce. He also emphasized the potential for broader cooperation in research and academic exchange.

The agreement focuses on English training, joint research, internships, and the development of specialized teaching materials. The ceremony concluded with the official signing, laying the groundwork for long-term collaboration between the two institutions.
