Final Round of the “LOVE RACE 2025” Competition – A Journey of Health and Shared Joy
On December 6, 2025, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU Hanoi) organized the Final Round of the “LOVE RACE 2025” competition – a journey promoting health, connection, and shared happiness.
The event brought together the most outstanding teams to compete in the ultimate challenge. It took place in an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere, spreading the message of a healthy lifestyle, solidarity, and sharing within the student community.

Attending the program, on behalf of the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU Hanoi) was Pham Thi Thu Hien, Specialist of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs, together with six competing teams and a large number of interested audience members. From the partner organizations, the program was honored to welcome Nguyen Thi Thao, Officer of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Vietnam; Nguyen Thi Tu Quynh, Officer of BATIK Vietnam; and Do Ngoc Son, Project Assistant. LOVE RACE 2025 serves as a platform to raise awareness about reproductive health and sexual health among young people, with the support of UNFPA, AFD, Partners Vietnam, and ULIS – VNU Hanoi. The competition aims to help students develop accurate understanding, practice responsible love, and transform knowledge into action.

Round 1 – “Understand Your Body, Understand Yourself”
In this round, teams held up answer boards to respond to ten multiple-choice questions related to puberty changes, signs of reproductive and sexual health, common misconceptions, and several real-life scenarios. Each team had five seconds to think for each question. Every correct answer earned 10 points, and there was a special Speed-Up question worth 20 points, adding excitement and intensity to the competition atmosphere.



Round 2 – “Boundaries and Consent”
In this round, each team drew a topic or scenario related to boundaries and consent. They were given 3 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to present in the form of role-play, situation handling, and message delivery.



Round 3 – “Safety Is Love”
The three teams with the highest scores advanced to the final round. In this round, each team created a creative communication product on the theme “Loving Responsibly – Safely – Respectfully.” Teams could choose one of four formats: a short video, a skit/role-play performance, a poster or visual publication, or a slogan accompanied by a mini campaign concept.

After three inspiring rounds, the program reached its most anticipated moment: the announcement of the final results. Following a fair and thorough evaluation process, the Jury selected the teams with the most outstanding, creative, and compelling performances to receive awards.



The Final Round of the “Love Race 2025 – A Journey of Health and Shared Joy” concluded successfully, leaving a strong impression of confidence, knowledge, and the positive messages conveyed by the participating teams. The event not only honored outstanding groups but also helped create a learning and experiential space that enhanced reproductive and sexual health awareness for ULIS students.
