On October 16^th – 18^th, 2019, ULIS – VNU solemnly held the 6th Annual International Conference of the Asian Association for Language Testing under the topic “Language Assessment: Principles, Policies and Practices” (AALA).

AALA Conference 2019 – The largest Asian Language Testing Conference was organized by ULIS – VNU for the first time as an official member of the Association.

This year’s conference was attended by about 200 delegates and speakers who are experts, professors, researchers and lecturers in the field of foreign language testing and assessment from 20 countries in the world.

At the opening ceremony on October 17^th, 2019, Dr. Do Tuan Minh, ULIS Preisdent affirmed that ULIS – VNU was very proud to host such a meaningful international event where scholars had chances to access the latest research in language testing and assessment in Asia and around the world.

The conference was filled with many activities , including more than 70 papers delivered in plenary and parallel sessions out of 171 articles received from authors of 19 countries and territories, 2 symposia, 15 poster presentations and 4 pre-conference workshops.

The 6^th Annual International Conference of the Asian Association for Language Testing ended after 3 exciting working days.
