On June 6^th, 2019, 50 students of VNU, including 8 ULIS students were awarded scholarships by Yamada Foundation, Japan. Each scholarship is worth USD 200, equivalent to nearly 5 million VND.

For many years, in order to encourage students to put more effort on learning and researching, VNU has cooperated with many domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to develop and implement effectively scholarship programs, including Yamada Scholarship Foundation, Japan and Yamada Scholarship Program for VNU students.

At the ceremony, Head of the Politics and Student Affairs Committee Mr. Dinh Van Huong extended his congratulations to 50 outstanding students who received Yamada scholarship.
