On April 27^th, 2023, ULIS-VNU held the 8^th Presentation Contest on Understanding the Asian Community in the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023. This is one of the activities in the curriculum of the subject Learning about the Asian community taught by the Department of Vietnamese Language and Culture.

Delivering his speech at the event, Vice President Lam Quang Dong spoke highly of the practicality of the subject in helping students accumulate knowledge about the economy, politics, and culture of countries in Asia, as well as being exposed to foreign students and experts at home and abroad.

In the program, after going through the preliminary round, 6 students with the best topics competed in two parts of presentation and question-and-answer competition. The contestants simultaneously demonstrated their knowledge, passion and eloquence skills to convince the judges and the audience.
