1.Academic background
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dai Quang has been teaching English Linguistics to undergraduate and graduate students at VNU University of Languages and International Studies and at other training and research institutions in Vietnam since 1978. From 2002 to 2012, he was engaged in management work as Deputy Director and then Director of Research, ULIS – VNU. Now Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dai Quang is High-Ranking Lecturer of English Linguistics at ULIS – VNU. The courses he has been teaching include Pragmatics, Semantics, Introduction to English Linguistics, Principles of English Phonetics and Phonology, Applied Linguistics, and Cross-Cultural Communication. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dai Quang also works as high consultant and supervising expert in English for different establishments in Hanoi and other localities.
