On July 17th, 2019, ULIS – VNU successfully held a briefing of July 2019, hosted by Dr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS President.

The briefing was attended by Dr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Quang Dong – ULIS Vice Presidents; Chairman of ULIS Trade Union; Directors of offices; Directors of centers; FLSS Principal; Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development.

At the meeting, President Do Tuan Minh highly appreciated the efforts of all departments in implementing their tasks in June. Meanwhile, he expected the departments to continue to fulfill the targets and tasks in July.

Activities of the University in the past month:

Organization of commencement ceremony in July, 2019 for QH.2015 cohort’s students, participation in the 2019 National High School Examination, organizations of entrance exams for 6th-grade of UMS and 10th-grade of FLSS, organization of a friendly football match for fundraising for “ULIS Dream” Foundation.

Key tasks in August 2019:

Organization of admission for undergraduate students who are fully qualified without being considered the admission results (on July 22nd) and with being considered the admission results (on August 11th), completion of projects on renovating and embellishing facilities, 2nd round recruitment of graduate students, organization of annual ULIS faculty and staff meeting of the 2018-2019 academic year (on August 8th), meeting with students of UMS (on August 1st), organization of voluntary summer 2019 campaign, implementation of One-stop administration for students.
