On January 17, 2019, ULIS-VNU held a meeting with leaders of Cau Giay District People’s Committee, representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Cau Giay District and Cau Giay District’s Department of Domestic Affairs to discuss the cooperation between the University and the district.

On January 17th, 2019, at the final of the 3rd Vietnamese Slam poetry contest, Nguyen Thuy Linh, Vice Chairwoman of ULIS Students Association secured the championship award, and will represent Vietnam to attend the International poetry Slam in Paris on May 27th to June 2nd, 2019.
