Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Chinese Language Training Course for Officers and Soldiers of the People’s Public Security Force
On May 29th, 2025, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the Department of Training under the Ministry of Public Security, held the closing ceremony of the 2025 Chinese language training course for 21 officers and soldiers of the People’s Public Security Forces.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of the University of Languages and International Studies were Vice President Hoa Ngoc Son, representatives from the Department of Science, Technology and Development Cooperation, and the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture. Representing the Department of Training under the Ministry of Public Security were Deputy Director Phan Van My, Deputy Head of the Department of Training and Continuing Education Management Nguyen Anh Tuan, along with 21 officers and soldiers of the People’s Public Security Forces who participated in the 2025 Chinese language training course.


In his opening remarks, Vice President Hoa Ngoc Son congratulated the 21 trainees on completing the 2025 Chinese language course. He praised the People’s Public Security Force for their vital role in maintaining security and expressed confidence that the officers would apply their language skills to enhance their professional work. He also highlighted the successful cooperation between the Department of Training and the University of Languages and International Studies and expressed hope for continued collaboration in future language training programs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Phan Van My, Deputy Director of the Department of Training under the Ministry of Public Security, expressed his sincere gratitude to the university leadership and the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture for successfully organizing the Chinese language training course for 21 officers and soldiers of the People’s Public Security Forces.
Recalling the learning process and the achievements of the course, Colonel Phan Van My highly appreciated the efforts and results achieved by the trainees, who, despite time constraints specific to their duties, were able to acquire foundational skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Chinese. Emphasizing the growing importance of the Chinese language in the context of globalization and deepening international cooperation, the Deputy Director expressed his hope that the officers would continue to build on the Chinese proficiency they have gained, further develop their professional competence in international environments, and maintain strong political will. This, he noted, would contribute to effectively implementing Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo, which calls for building a truly clean, strong, formal, elite, and modern People’s Public Security Force capable of fulfilling its mission in the new era.

At the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Technology and Development Cooperation, Luu Manh Kien, read the decision recognizing the completion of the course. Vice President Hoa Ngoc Son presented certificates to the 21 officers of the People’s Public Security Forces who successfully completed the 2025 Chinese language training course.

On behalf of the 21 trainees, Major Tran Dinh Phu expressed his deep gratitude to the university leadership and the lecturers of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture for their support and instruction throughout the course. Emotionally recalling memories from the training, Major Tran Dinh Phu pledged to continue improving his Chinese proficiency to advance further on the path of integration and personal development.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo session and a friendly networking reception between the University of Languages and International Studies and the Department of Training under the Ministry of Public Security.
