Collaborating with the KEIO Gakuen (Japan)
On August 25, 2025, the University of Languages and International Studies – VNU, Hanoi held a working session with the KEIO Educational Corporation (Japan).


Attending the meeting were Mr. Do Tuan Minh, Chairman of the University Council; Ms. Ha Le Kim Anh, Vice Rector; representatives and specialists from the following units: the Office of Science, Technology & Development; the Office of Training & Recruitment; the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture; the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture; and representatives from the KEIO Educational Corporation (Japan).

At the meeting, Vice Rector Ha Le Kim Anh noted that the admission scores for programs in both the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture and the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture are currently high. As a result, the university has attracted a large number of outstanding and high-quality students. The university’s leadership hopes that this meeting will open up more opportunities for scholarships, academic exchange, internships, and employment in Japan, creating a solid foundation for ULIS students to develop their professional competencies and integrate internationally.

Representing the KEIO Educational Corporation, Mr. Yang Shangyong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KEIO Educational Corporation and Principal of Tokyo Sakura Academy, expressed his pleasure at directly visiting and working with the VNU University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS). At the same time, Mr. Yang Shangyong gave an introduction about the KEIO Educational Corporation. The corporation operates in fields such as: recruitment consulting, specific skills training support, office business, and has a reputable Japanese language training school system in Japan. In addition, the partner shared the benefits and privileges that ULIS students can enjoy when studying/interning at the group’s affiliated educational institutions such as: scholarships, study and living locations, and post-graduation employment opportunities,…

Subsequently, both sides actively engaged in a discussion and Q&A session about potential opportunities for collaboration.




The working session concluded with a gift exchange and a commemorative photo session.
