Conference on orientation for developing Vietnamese Language and Culture major, major in teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language

On August 29th, 2024, ULIS – VNU held a conference on orientation for the development of the Vietnamese Language and Culture major, specializing in teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language.

In her opening speech, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh said that ULIS ​​had decided to propose to VNU to add a new major, “Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Culture”. In addition to the International Forum “Teaching Vietnamese as a Foreign Language in Vietnam and Abroad” held on August 26th, this Orientation Conference helped to collect comments from delegates so that the University could complete this Project.

At the conference, 3 reports were presented along with an exchange and discussion activity.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman of ULIS Council Do Tuan Minh spoke highly of the comments at the conference, which provided useful information and suggested directions for the task force.
