On December 17^th, 2020, teachers and students of the Department of Arabic Language and Culture participated in the Celebration of International Arabic Day on December 18^th that was organized by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening of the Ceremony, Mr. Obaid Saeed Al Dhaheri – UAE State Ambassador to Vietnam emphasized the UAE Government ‘s special interest in preserving and developing Arabic Language domestically and internationally.

Representative of the Department, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Van expressed her sincere thanks to the cooperation and great support of the UAE Embassy in particular and the Arab Embassy in Vietnam in general throughout their contribution to the promotion of Arabic Language and Culture in Vietnam.

At the event, the poetic performance “Lughati – Lugha Qur’an” was presented by Nguyen Xuan Bac – QH2017 student, and the chorus “Lughati” was performed by students of the Department.

The Ambassador happily gave praise to the dynamics and enthusiasm of the Department during the past time, contributing to the training of high quality human resources in the Arabic Department for the whole country. At the end of the program, the Ambassador presented a Certificate and a souvenir to the Department.
