1.Academic background

Dr. Le Hoai An is a lectucer of the Faculty of German Language and Culture, ULIS – VNU since 2012. In 1996, he took over undergraduate German courses after earning the degree of Bachelor of German at Hanoi University. In 2004, he earned the degree of Master of Linguistics at University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. In 2011, he earned the doctoral degree in Applied Linguistics at Hamburg University, Germany. In 2012, he began his engagement with graduate training of German. He took over teaching Translator Training (German–Vietnamese), Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication.

The major publications of Dr. Le Hoai An include the textbook German and Vietnamese Translation Training, Hanoi: VNU Press, 2018; Vietnamese translation from German- Monographs of Economy and Social Democracy by Somon Vaut and other authorsof Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Germany (Hanoi: Social Sciences Publishing House, 2014), and various articles on the Linguistics Journal, VNU Journal of Foreign Studies and Humanities Journal of Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand, along with other several conference articles.
