On December 17^th, 2021, the State Embassy of Qatar in Hanoi solemnly held the 49th National Day Celebration. On this special occasion, President Do Tuan Minh and faculty and students of the Department of Arabic Language and Culture attended, congratulated the prosperous development of the State of Qatar and the close friendship and cooperation between the two countries Vietnam – Qatar.

During the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh congratulated and deeply thanked Ambassador Mohamed Ismail Al-Emadi and the Qatar Embassy for the development of the Arabic language at ULIS – VNU during the past years.

In particular, Mr. Mohamed Ismail Al-Emadi – State Ambassador of Qatar to Vietnam on behalf of the Embassy presented 100 million VND to the Department of Arabic Language and Culture, including 7 scholarships (worth 10 million VND each) for students majoring in Arabic languages.
