Final Round of the Student Tour Guide Skills Competition for the Academic Year 2025–2026

On the evening of December 22, 2025, at Vu Dinh Lien Hall, the Final Round of the Student Tour Guide Skills Competition for the academic year 2025 – 2026 took place in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, attracting a large number of students who came to attend and cheer for the contestants.

The event was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh –  Vice President of the University, representatives from academic faculties and functional departments, members of the Jury, invited guests, competing teams, and a wide audience of interested students.

In her opening remarks, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh highlighted the practical significance of the competition, emphasizing that it provides students with valuable opportunities to enhance professional knowledge, foster creativity, and experience a professional tour guiding environment. She expressed her expectation that the performances in the Final Round would offer meaningful experiences and leave lasting impressions, thereby motivating students to pursue their aspirations in the tourism sector.

Beyond serving as an academic competition, the event was also a journey of self-discovery, community connection, and long-term career inspiration. It created a platform for students passionate about tourism to tell their own stories through guiding skills and creative presentations, reflecting their enthusiasm for the tour guide profession. In this season, the competition attracted nearly 200 applications from ULIS students, clearly demonstrating the appeal and development potential of the tourism field within the university community.

During the Final Round, competing teams took part in two main segments: Round 1 – Knowledge and Round 2 – Presentation. These rounds assessed not only professional competence but also creative thinking, situational adaptability, and professional demeanor demonstrated by each team.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the most outstanding teams. The First Prize was awarded to Dang non tam chuong team. The Second Prize went to Triple Muse for their presentation on Dong Ho folk paintings, while Chi em di san team secured the Third Prize. Two Consolation Prizes were presented to Lang lua Van Phuc and Lang roi nuoc Dao Thuc teams. In addition, the Organizing Committee presented the “Most Favorite Video” award to contestant Nguyen Hong Phuc, recognizing her creativity and commendable efforts in storytelling through tourism-themed content.

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee presented fresh flower bouquets to the Jury members as a token of appreciation for their professional guidance, expertise sharing, and valuable contributions to the success of the competition.
