French Embassy Counselor Éric Soulier pays a working visit to ULIS

On January 29, 2026, ULIS welcomed Mr. Éric Soulier, Counsellor for Culture and Cooperation at the Embassy of France in Vietnam for a visit and working session aimed at strengthening future cooperation for both sides.

Attending this, on behalf of ULIS were Vice President Hoa Ngoc Son; Mr. Luu Manh Kien, Deputy Head of the Cooperation & Development Office and Board of the Faculty of French Language and Culture.

During the working session, Dr.Hoa Ngoc Son briefly introduced ULIS’s development and training scale, with a focus on the Faculty of French Language and Culture. He highlighted the recent innovative initiatives to enhance educational quality, including French language training for staff, students and support for innovation and entrepreneurship activities. He also expressed his hope for continued support and close cooperation from the French Embassy in scholarships, internships and the organization of DELF examinations for students and French-learning.

In response, Mr. Éric Soulier, Cultural and Cooperation Counselor, expressed his strong interest in enhancing links between the French Embassy, French universities and students of the Faculty of French Language and Culture. He highlighted plans to promote more direct exchange activities, helping students improve their French proficiency and deepen their understanding of French culture and academia. He also noted that these initiatives would facilitate information sharing on scholarships, study and exchange opportunities, thereby expanding students’ career prospects, internships, and international integration amid growing bilateral educational cooperation.
