The “Hearts Connected” scholarships are granted to students with special circumstances of the Faculty of English Language Teacher Education.

The award ceremony was held on April 19^th, 2019 with the attendance of President Do Tuan Minh, Director of Politics and Student Affairs Office Vu Van Hai, Vice dean of the Faculty of English Teacher Language Education Phung Thi Kim Dung, the Executive Board of “Hearts Connected” scholarship chaired by Mr. Nguyen The Hoang, and 10 students who were awarded scholarships in this time.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh highly appreciated all the activities of the Foundation[A1] . ‘Honoring the past is a characteristic that every ULISer holds. We need to extend our special thanks to all older generations who laid the foundation for the English Department and ULIS.” said the President. President Do Tuan Minh also hoped that the 31^st cohort Alumni Club of the Faculty would offer more favor for ULIS students to have more opportunities to practice in their companies.

Mr. Nguyen The Hoang – Chairman of the Foundation shared that the purpose and meaning of the scholarship were to motivate and support students with special circumstances.

After that, representatives of the Foundation awarded scholarships to 10 students, including Tran Thi Hoai Nhi, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Nguyen Thi Huong, Dang Thi Quynh, Quan Thi Bich Ngoc, Le Thi Linh, Kieu Thi Hao, Nguyen Thanh Huyen, Le Thi Tam, Phung Thi Thanh Thuy.

Each scholarship is worth 3,000,000 VND.
