On August 1^st, 2024, ULIS – VNU organized an international scientific conference under the topic “Researching and teaching Korean studies in Vietnam with an interdisciplinary approach” . This is an activity within the framework of the ULIS AKS CORE Project sponsored by the Korean Studies Development Fund – Korea Central Institute for Korean Studies.

Delivering his speech at the Conference, Vice President Lam Quang Dong extended his thanks to the training units and distinguished guests who attended the conference.

After that, Prof. Choi Dong Ju from Sookmyung Women’s University had a report on “Korean Studies Education and Research Achievements in Viet Nam: A Retrospect”

In the program, 20 reports were presented in 3 parallel subcommittees. New knowledge, perspectives along with discussion activities created a valuable and highly international conference.
