International students cook traditional Vietnamese dishes

On October 25th, 2023, a group of international students studying Vietnamese at ULIS – VNU had a hands-on experience of Vietnamese cuisine through an exchange with the University lecturers and staff.

This is an activity to experience Vietnamese culinary culture within the framework of their course.

In this experiential learning session, international students from Japan, Korea, Laos, Cambodia, China and others learned about and directly made a traditional Vietnamese dish – fried spring rolls. The students prepared ingredients, rolled & fried spring rolls, presented and enjoyed the food.

The students confidently presented and narrated the process of making spring rolls in Vietnamese to the teachers.
