Meeting and Communication with Students from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration

On February 10, 2025, a remarkable event took place at the University of Languages and International Studies (VNU-ULIS), where students from the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture had the opportunity to meet and interact with students from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA)

This program was not only an opportunity for students from both countries to communicate and learn from each other but also a valuable chance to promote comprehensive strategic cooperation between Vietnam and Russia, as well as between ULIS and Russian universities.

The meeting between students from the two nations took place in the context of the continuing strong development of the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. This exchange program not only helped strengthen ties between the two peoples but also provided an opportunity for younger generations of both countries to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s culture, traditions, and academic cooperation opportunities.

During the meeting, students from both countries had the opportunity to interact and explore the traditions of their respective universities. A particularly important part of the program was the Vietnamese Lunar New Year cultural experience. Students from both nations participated in meaningful activities such as calligraphy writing, trying on traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai and Russian folk costumes, and receiving lucky money. These experiences helped Russian students gain a deeper appreciation of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.

In addition, students engaged in discussions on various topics related to student life in both countries. Issues such as international student exchange programs, scholarship opportunities, and learning experiences were among the key topics of interest. This exchange provided an excellent opportunity for young people to broaden their perspectives, learn from each other, and build lasting relationships.

This meeting program marked a new milestone in educational cooperation between the two universities. The participating students may become cultural ambassadors, promoting mutual understanding and deeper connections between the two nations. At the same time, it provided Vietnamese students with international exposure, opportunities to expand their networks, and the potential to pursue further studies at prestigious universities in Russia.
