On January 8^th, 2020, ULIS – VNU held a meeting between the Emulation and Award Council of the University with individuals and representatives of groups who were specially commended and awarded in 2019.

The meeting was attended by President Do Tuan Minh, members of the Emulation and Reward Council and individuals, collective representatives who rewarded unexpectedly in 2019.

Sharing at the meeting, Dr. Duong Quynh Hoa – Director of the Personnel and Organization Office said that ULIS began implementing the special award policy in September 2016. The policy aims to provide prompt recognition of ULIS faculty and staff’s high achievements beyond expectation, in addition to the regular (often annual) award mechanism.  In 2019 alone, 11 individuals and 7 groups benefited from the policy.

Recognizing the achievements and contributions of each and every rewarded individual and group, President Do Tuan Minh said that “special award” was a breakthrough policy with the desire to encourage staff and improve the University’s commendation activities.

Also at the meeting, individuals and representatives of groups shared their feelings about the awards. They all showed their gratitude for the University’s support and encouragement and determined to continue making more efforts in the future.
