On December 8^th, 2022, ULIS-VNU welcomed and worked with Mr. Mohammed Ismaeil A Dahlwy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Vietnam.

At the meeting, President Do Tuan Minh extended his greetings and wished Ambassador Mohammed Ismaeil A Dahlwy to attain many achievements during his term in Vietnam. He also introduced the history and training scale of ULIS, emphasizing that the University is the only place to offer the Bachelor program in the Arabic language in Vietnam.

In response, Ambassador Mohammed Ismaeil A Dahlwy expressed his desire for extensive cooperation between the two sides to jointly develop training in Arabic language and culture. In addition to enhancing the language teaching at ULIS, the Embassy of Saudi Arabia also wants to expand the cooperation in many other activities and is very willing to accept students of the Department of Arabic Language and Culture to do internship at the Embassy.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement as soon as possible.
