Abroad internship programs for students have been promoted by ULIS – VNU over the past time.

On March 11^th, 2019, the University had a meeting with Mr. Masaru Matsuda from Global Link Company. The meeting was attended by Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Ha Le Kim Anh, Director of the Cooperation & Development Office Do Minh Hoang, Deputy Director of the Politics & Students Affairs Office Nguyen Huyen Trang, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Language & Culture Tran Kieu Hue.

During the meeting, representatives of the two sides exchanged and discussed cooperation on organizing Japanese internship programs for ULIS students. Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy affirmed that the University would create best conditions for students to experience and learn in foreign environments.

Global Link had an introduction about the company and its internship programs in Japan for more than 40 ULIS students. Thereby, the company affirmed this was an opportunity to improve the language competency and understand a variety of different working environments, Japanese culture and tourism, and develop careers in the future.

On March 12^th, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy and Ms. Nguyen Huyen Trang worked with representatives of JBT Corp to cooperate in internship program in Japan.

During the meeting, Mr. Naohiro Shirakawa shared about the need to receive foreign students to work at the group’s hotels and resorts.

Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy expected JBT Corp to expand the internship program for both non-Japanese major and Japanese major students.

All the meetings with these partners have brought good results initially, opening new internship opportunities for students of the whole University.
