On October 19nd, 2024, ULIS-VNU organized the opening ceremony of the academic year 2024-2025 and “Hello ULIS 2024” program with the participation of lecturers, staff, guest delegates and more than 2400 students.

In his opening speech, Principal Nguyễn Xuân Long conveyed six key words to the students: Confidence – Courage – Dedication – Ambition – Enthusiasm – Togetherness, along with his wish for them to have a vibrant youth under the roof of ULIS.

At the event, the university honored and awarded one valedictorian and 13 program valedictorians. Also in the program, the UI Innovation Award was announced and presented to 14 outstanding students who achieved high results in scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, the university awarded 47 Green Dream Scholarships to inspire and encourage new students to strive and excel in their studies.

The program also featured an introduction session of all the faculties and departments at ULIS to the freshmen, colorful performances by both ULIS teachers and students and cultural exchanges with 2 partner schools (University of Medicine and Pharmacy – VNU and Political Officers University). 

The opening of the 2024 – 2025 school year and Hello ​​2024 have brought students a meaningful atmosphere and unforgettable memories, marking new steps at ULIS for new students. ULIS will always be a solid fulcrum for each student to shine and devote themselves to their fiery youth here.
