Opening of the 7th “German Summer University in Southeast Asia” series of activities
On September 29th, 2024, at the National Cinema Center, the opening ceremony of the program “7th Southeast Asia German Summer University” took place.
The program “7th Southeast Asian German Summer Congress” is an opportunity for more than 50 lecturers and students from 25 different universities to study, share and most importantly, aim to build a more prosperous future for the country, creating changes for ourselves, the community, the Fatherland and the Southeast Asian family.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice President Hoa Ngoc Son hoped that foreign teachers and students could access more knowledge about Vietnamese people and history through the seminars and sideline activities of the series of activities.
Representative of the German Embassy in Vietnam, Helga Margarete Barth, shared that the program is a great opportunity to connect German language educators from various countries and highly appreciated the tireless efforts of teachers who have contributed to spreading the love for the German language.
Following the program is the screening of the film “Love, D-Mard and Death”.
The “7th Southeast Asian German Summer Congress” highlights the role of ULIS – VNU in connecting and providing opportunities for lecturers and students to meet, interact, and learn from peers across Southeast Asia. The program includes a variety of activities such as seminars, cultural excursions, and discussions, taking place over the course of 10 days.
