Over 400 Children Enthusiastically Join International Children’s Day 2025 Celebration at ULIS May 30, 2025
On May 30th, 2025, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) organized a celebration for International Children’s Day aiming to encourage and uplift the spirits of the children of the university’s staff and employees, while also creating a space for family interaction and bonding.

This annual event is part of the ULIS Trade Union and Women’s Union’s regular activities. It not only brought joy to the young participants but also reflected the university’s deep concern for the mental well-being of its staff and their families.

This year’s venue, chosen by the university’s leadership and trade union, was Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi – one of the most attractive destinations for children in the capital.

Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi is the first Lotte World project developed in Vietnam. A premier entertainment facility, it integrates cutting-edge global technologies with Vietnamese culture and nature. Spanning over 9,094 square meters and featuring 67 large display tanks, the aquarium is home to more than 31,000 marine creatures from over 400 species. It offers an immersive marine world experience, with design elements inspired by Vietnam’s rich folk culture and mythology, particularly the legend of “Cá Ông” – the whale god revered by fishermen. With a lively setting and many engaging interactive activities, the visit offered an unforgettable experience for the children.
This year’s event welcomed the participation of over 400 children from the families of ULIS staff and employees. Accompanying them were their parents – ULISers themselves – who joined in the fun while also observing and supporting their children’s holistic development. More than just a festive occasion, the celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for ULIS families to connect, share, and create cherished memories in an atmosphere filled with laughter and warmth.
