On January 5^th, 2020, ULIS – VNU in collaboration with experts on Innovation and Entrepreneurship held a meeting to review the 1^st training course on innovation and entrepreneurship educators for ULIS lecturers. This is part of a wide range of activities in the “Project in renovating teaching activities at all educational levels of ULIS – VNU in the period 2019 – 2025”.

The training course was organized to help teachers/lecturers change their mindsets so that they can be ready to translate challenges into opportunities, cultivate tolerance of diversity and differences; hone their ability to inspire and advise students on starting a business; work well in teams and guide students to work well in teams; solve problems in education and in all other fields following a standard order of design thinking; acquire the ability to protect their own intellectual property rights and advise students on such rights.

During the wrapping-up session, the lecturers who had participated in the training course were divided into 4 groups to deliver their presentations (final pitching). The presentations were meticulously prepared with professional and natural presentation style, which attracted the attention of all delegates and students in the hall.

In order to encourage the University’s lecturers to attend the training course, organizers offered four best students of each group a study tour within the country.

The second training course is scheduled to be held in April 2020.
