The delegation of ULIS went to fields in Lang Son, Thanh Hoa
The group has 15 lecturers coming to 15 high schools at Lang Son (11 schools) and Thanh Hoa (4 schools) from November 13th to 16th (the first trip) along with 3 students joining with each lecturer in the wake of implementing the Lang Son program and Thanh Hoa program.
On November 12th, 2018, ULIS-VNU organized a training session for teachers participating in field activities under the Lang Son Program and the Thanh Hoa Program, the two programs in cooperation with local authorities to improve the quality of teaching and learning foreign languages in the provinces.
Participants in the training session were President Do Tuan Minh, Chairman of the Cooperation and Development Advisory Council Nguyen Lan Trung, representative of the Steering Committee, and members participating in the program.
Delivering his speech at the session, President Do Tuan Minh thanked the group of 15 “soldiers” who participated in the field work in these two provinces. The President said that the Lang Son Program and the Thanh Hoa Program were social responsibility activities of the University in order to improve the quality of foreign language training in these two provinces and look further to the whole country.
This is an honor and also an opportunity to raise prestige, showing the capacity of the University so the President expected that the teachers would try their best.
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Lan Trung said: “The University highly appreciated the two projects in cooperation with these provinces. The University has established nine human resource groups including the Steering Committee with 4 members in the Executive Board, the Organizing Committee and specialized groups.

Early morning on November 13th, 2018, the delegations departed from the University to come to the fields. With the spirit of responsibility, the enthusiasm of the youth, the lecturers and the students were determined to successfully complete the tasks given to them.
