Training Program on “Building Virtual Assistants for Communication Work” Held at ULIS
On May 14, 2026, the University of Languages and International Studies-Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS-VNU) organized a training program titled “Building Virtual Assistants for Communication Work”.

The program was attended by Vice President Lam Quang Dong and members of the Communications Board of ULIS-VNU.
In his opening speech, Vice President Lam Quang Dong recognized the efforts of the Communications Board in improving the university’s reputation and image. He also mentioned several important communication tasks for the coming period, especially university admissions communication. Associate Professor Dr. Lam Quang Dong expressed his belief that the training program would help staff improve their skills in applying technology to their professional work.

At the beginning of the program, participants joined a communication-themed quiz game related to ULIS-VNU. The activity helped provide an overall and lively view of the university’s communication work.

During the main training session, MA. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy Head of the Communications Board, shared ideas about the role of communication officers today and highlighted the importance of AI in communication activities. Participants were also guided step by step on how to train AI tools and build personal data systems to support their daily work.
In addition, the program emphasized several important principles when using AI at work, such as following legal regulations and ensuring that AI does not replace the role of humans.
Besides the main training content, the program also created an open space for discussion and exchange among participants. This was an opportunity for different units to share practical experiences, successful lessons, and challenges in educational communication, as well as discuss common solutions to improve connections with learners and the community.

One of the highlights of the program was the hands-on practice session, where participants not only learned theory but also directly built their own AI communication assistants.
The program ended with an exciting award ceremony honoring participants who performed well in the opening quiz activity.

The training program took place in an active and serious atmosphere, helping the Communications Board of ULIS-VNU adapt to new communication demands in today’s changing environment.
