ULIS – A place for nurturing students’ creative ideas

On November 21st, 2019, President Do Tuan Minh held a meeting with groups of students to listen to their presentations on the creative thinking and entrepreneurship project, a new module launched from the 2019 – 2020 academic year.

The meeting was attended by representatives of different departments and lecturers who participated in teaching the module creative thinking and entrepreneurship.

Sharing his thoughts at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Science & Technology Office Duong Anh Chien said that in order to perform the duties and functions of the unit, the Office had been actively seeking scientific and creative research ideas from students over the past time.

During the meeting, student groups presented their ideas, including projects: 1. Travel love, 2. Organic tour, 3. Job search website, 4. Landscape improvement project at corridors, 5. Self-study rooms, 6. Student Research Club, 7. Dream Library, 8. E-learning, 9. Smart trash.

Delivering his speech at the event, President Do Tuan Minh affirmed that the University strongly encouraged student’s creative ideas. The President believed that these ideas were very useful and would be taken on board.
