On August 4^th, 2020, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) held the annual faculty, staff and review conference of the 2019-2020 academic year. To implement the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s conference took place in an online platform.

The conference was attended by the Management Board and more than 600 staff of the University.

At the conference, President Do Tuan Minh presented reports on the University’s implementation of the Conference’s Resolution and tasks in 2019-2020 school year and the plan for 2020-2021.

Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, President of ULIS Trade Union, then presented the results of staff conferences in affiliated units and collected comments and feedback from participants. 

The review report on activities of the 2018-2020 People’s Inspectorate and the work plan for the 2020-2022 term were introduced in details by Mr. Pham Duc Trung, Head of the People’s Inspectorate.

The Conference also listened to the report on budget management and welfare from Ms. Le Thi Khanh Trang, Director of the Finance and Planning Office. 

Other presentations on different topics were also delivered in the Conference.
